Wine Making
Barringwood’s 2021 Grazier’s Pinot Noir is crafted from fruit grown on our historic Cranbook farm, a 1300ha grazing property dating back to 1840. Long sunny days and low rainfall allow the development of richly and generous wines.
Grapes, including 25% whole bunch, were crushed to open top fermenter and cold soaked for 3 days prior to yeast inoculation. On completion of primary fermentation wine was pressed French barriques (20% new) and aged for 8 months.
