Pinot Noir

A blend of fruit from our ultra-cool North West vineyard, our super sunny Cranbrook vineyard and our beautifully balanced Evandale vineyard has created a smooth and harmonious drop. 

2022 -  Juicy bright red fruit with exotic spices and hints a mocha like oak characters.  Tending towards a firmer tannin structure.  ​
 

Mill Block Pinot Noir

Planted on the site of an old sawmill and perched on a steep north facing slope overlooking the Don Valley to Bass Strait the original Barringwood vineyard in Tasmania’s North West has been producing elegant, ultra-cool climate wines for over 24 years.

2021 - “…exotic spice, amaro herbs and a struck-flint aspect coming through on the nose; perhaps a lick more oak too. And this is all a very good thing indeed. Grazier’s Pinot Noir

Tucked away in a sheltered corner of a 1300ha superfine merino farm dating back to the 1840’s, our Cranbrook vineyard is dedicated to Pinot Noir perfection and regeneration of natural values. 

2020 - Hand picked from 4yo vines in the Cranbrook vineyard at 50m elevation. Aged 6 months in 16% new French oak barrels. Whole bunches (18%) and oak have been carefully played to leave the main game to tangy, spicy berry fruits. Bright acidity and fine, firm tannins promise potential. 2021 “A touch of whole bunches in here, methinks, with a light sheen of amaro herbs, struck-flint and exotic spice flittering above elegant cherry and raspberry fruits.
